The Postal Palace (Palacio Postal de México, Palacio de Correos or the Quinta Casa de Correos) is located in the historic center of Mexico City, between Tacuba street and the Eje Central Lazaro Cardenas, near the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
The Postal Palace was built at the very beginning of the 20th century, and it was inaugurated in 1907. The Naval Historical Museum and an exhibition about Postal Culture are located inside the building.
The building's interior is decorated with Carrara marble and gilded bronze smithy:
Inside the building, the stairs and the roof covered by a huge transparent leaded glass dome stand out:
